Links for Teachers

http://thecornerstoneforteachers.com/blog I have been listening to Angela's podcast since it came out and I have learned so much. Last summer, I joined her 40 hour teacher workweek club. It has helped me create sustainable routines and has helped me become so much more organized. There is a fee for the club, but it is definitely worth it and you get access to so many incredible resources and you will have access to these resources for life! She opens up the membership twice a year, I think in July and in January. She has also written many books that I hope will come out on Audible (as I am a huge audible fan because of my commute).

www.simplyskilledteaching.com  Simply skilled teaching has literally transformed my teaching! My husband purchased a membership for me and believe me when I tell you, it was worth every cent! I have never seen such high quality teacher created materials. Her name is Anna and teaches 2nd grade. Her philosophy on guided math has changed my thinking about how to teach math. There are several options to her membership. I purchased the membership along with access to the second grade math curriculum. She has incredible resources for ESL, holidays, guided reading, guided math, and so much more. She has a store on TPT as well. I HIGHLY recommend at least checking out her blog: http://simplyskilledinsecond.com/. You will not be disappointed!

GoNoodle! is a great resource for brain and body breaks for busy bodies!

Here is an article in Scholastic about the importance of play in the classroom.
